Aunt Jacqui Visits

Aunt Jacqui flew in from New York on Friday to see her niece. Adyson was very happy to see her Aunt and slept comfortably in her arms.

I think Marni and I will have to keep our eyes on Jacqui...if we are not careful she will spoil little Adyson (although in her defense, Jacqui thinks we will do that all on our own).

Here are some pictures of Adyson taken by my cell phone. We will send out the birth announcements with professional pictures in about a month or two. In the meantime, these will have to do.

Adyson Nicole Watkins

Adyson Nicole Watkins was born July 19, 2010 at 6:07 p.m. She tipped the scales at 5 lbs. 12 oz., and measured 18.5 inches. She arrived three weeks early.Despite her dark completion, I have been assured by Marni that she is mine =0)

She has been a terrific baby - even her cries are cute. Marni and Adyson came home on Thursday morning, and have been adjusting well.

We have received a lot of love and support from family and friends. Grandma Watkins and Grandma Rubin have stayed with us since Adyson arrived, and Grandpa Watkins drove from Utah last weekend (12 hours roundtrip) just for the chance to see Adyson for a few hours. Uncle Doug and Andrea have watched the baby and cooked terrific meals. Thanks everyone - Adyson is very lucky!
